Wildlife Talkabout: Programme 4  (1982)

No end to it as long as we live on a healthy planet

Celebrating twenty five years of the Natural History Unit (NHU), Wildlife Talkabout: 4 is an interesting glimpse into the world of wildlife filmmaking, focusing on the people behind the scenes of the Unit's numerous productions. The last of four anniversary specials, Angela Rippon interviews many top producers, presenters and cameramen, providing a unique insight into the complex art of wildlife cinematography.

Engaging and informal, Wildlife Talkabout: 4 reveals the hours of patient work and numerous difficulties involved in producing a successful wildlife documentary. Interspersed with stunning footage from many of their top shows, NHU co-founders Tony Soper and Christopher Parsons relate their experiences, future visions, and share their specialised knowledge of this intriguing field.
