Nature of Things: Island of the moon  (1981)

John Dunn at Wildscreen, 1982

A documentary film, 'The Island of the Moon', was made in Madagascar, which, for the last 60 million years, has been separated from the continent of Africa.  This isolation has led to the evolution of many unique species of plant and wildlife.  Winner of the Wildscreen Film Festival "Panda Awards" ceremony "Best Soundtrack Award" in 1982.
