Project Puffin  (1981)

Wildscreen Film Entry, 1982

This film shows the efforts of an Audubon biologist to re-establish a breeding colony of Atlantic puffins on an island off the coast of maine.  Puffins, which were once common along the coast of Maine, nearly disappeared in the late 1880s.  Now, for the first time in a hundred years, puffins are nesting again on easter Egg rock - a former breeding site.
